Origins: Named after Traugott Gerber, a German Doctor. Infrequently called Transvaal Daisy or Barberton Daisy. Origins in South Africa (Transvaal and Cape Province).
Traits: Known for her Colorful Blooms and cheerful disposition. Little known 20 years ago but has now become extremely popular and fashionable.
Care Tips: She needs warmth and bright light, keep soil moist, remove spent blooms at base of plant to encourage new blooms. Can also be planted in the garden after danger of frost has passed.
